* Resolve to continue struggle till Ram Mandir is constructed

JAMMU, Dec 16: Thousands of people including Mahamandleshwars and Sadhus drawn from different parts of Jammu region converged at Parade Chowk here, today to participate in Hindu Dharam Sansad organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad to force the Government to construct the Mandir at Ramjanambhoomi Ayodhya in UP.
They took a solemn pledge to continue struggle till the Ram Mandir is constructed at Ayodhya and also urged the Union Government to pass a bill or bring an Ordinance without further delay on the construction of Bhawan at Ramjanambhoomi Ayodhya. They warned that Government should not construe the patience of Sants and Hindu Samaj as their weakness and in case it failed to do the needful regarding the construction of Bhawan at Ramjanambhommi, Ayodhya, the Sants will be forced to take action on their own.

Ram Mandir is a matter of the faith of millions of Hindus across the globe and they can’t tolerate any more delay in construction of Bhawan at Ramjanambhoomi, Ayodhya, the Sants said. They said that Government should without any delay remove all the barriers and hurdles in its way to fulfill the aspirations of Sadhu Samaj and millions of Hindus in this regard.
The Sadhus and Mahamandleshwars while addressing the mammoth gathering said as there has been constant delay in construction of Bhawan at Aydohya so they are duty bound to awaken the Government to either pass a bill or bring an ordinance in this regard.
Jagat Guru Ramanandcharya Shree Hans Dev Ji Maharaj said that Sant Adiveshan (convention) during Kumb at Allahabad next month will decide future course of action in this regard in case the Government failed to take any decision on the issue till then.
National secretary, VHP Rajinder Singh Pankaj in his address said that the Hindus of this country have waited a long and now the Bhawan be constructed at Ramjanambhoomi and no delay in this regard will be tolerated.
Sants also regretted the delay in deciding the case by Apex Court. Brig (retd) Suchet Singh, Sangchalak , RSS recalled the 2008 Amarnath land row agitation and said that Hindu Samaj did not hesitate in laying down their lives for protection of Amarnath land which too was a matter of faith for them. “We gave a befitting reply to those who tried to usurp our religious rights by displaying total unity at that time”. He said “we are united today, also for the construction of Bhawan at Ramjanambhoomi”.,
Brig Suchet Singh also threw light on 1931 riots in Kashmir Valley by the secessionist and fundamentalist forces on behest of some foreign powers against then Maharaja’s Government. He also gave all credit to late RSS chief, Guru Golevalkar popularly known as Guru Ji in motivating Maharja Hari Singh to sign the instrument of accession with India.
He said those who call RSS an anti national and communal organization should read its history and role right from its inception for strengthening nationalist forces in the country. He said, had Guru Ji not taken a stand at that time, the situation in this State would have been totally different today.
Swami Dinesh Bharti took a dig at separatists in Kashmir and warned them that they will never succeed in their vicious designs. He also criticized those mainstream leaders who call stone pelters as innocent and demanded that they (stone pelters) too deserve the treatment of the terrorists.
He said in comparison to that a misinformation campaign is being launched against the Indian Army in Kashmir who is for protection of common masses from terrorists. Addressing the Samelan advocate Leela Karan Sharma president VHP, strongly endorsed the Sants demand that Union Government should bring an ordinance or pass the Bill in the current Session of the Parliament for construction of Bhawan. He said it is unfortunate that Hindus have been made to suffer in this country for last 70 years due to wrong policies of the Government.
Addressing the Samelan Mahant Rameshwar Dass Ji said that if Ram temple will not be constructed in India then will it be constructed in Pakistan.
Among the prominent who were present and addressed the Samelan included, Mahamandleshwar Akashra Nand Maharaj, Mahant Ram Swaroop Dass Ji, Mahant Divya Nand Ji Maharaj, Mahant Nirmal Swaroop Ji Maharaj, Mahant Rishiban Ji, Satyanarayan Dass Ji Maharaj, Sant Giri Ji Maharaj, Mahant Ashtosh Ji Maharaj, VHP secretary, Abhishekh Gupta, its vice presidents Shakti Dutt Sharma and Rajesh Gupta, senior leader Karan Singh Charak, Ram Paul, Rajesh Bhasin of VHP, Desh Rattan president AIMCCC etc.
