Hindi play ‘Teen Apahij’ concludes Rangnaad-1

JAMMU, Jan 27: The presentation of Hindi play ‘Teen Apahij’, at studio  Rangyug, came out as an impressive  performance by young actors who had joined Rangnaad-1, a  specially designed month long course for freshers in  acting, which started on  December 30, 2014.
Talking to Excelsior, Deepak Kumar, the founder/Director of  Rangyug said  that the play written by Vipin Aggarwal, was specially  chosen for exploration of subtext which is an important  aspect of actors work .The actors were exposed to various  aspects of theatre with special emphasis in acting and  various methodologies used for actors training were applied  during this 50 hours course.
The actors who acted in the play included Rohit Sharma,  Rishabh Sharma, Amit Bhalla, Sahil Sharma, Devdhar Sharma  and Max Thakur who were selected out of 30 applicants for  this course.
Performed at Studio Rangyug, the play was witnessed by many  senior theatre and film actors, directors, artists and  members of the civil society. In the interaction session  which followed to performance, many interesting and probing  questions to the actors about their understanding of the  characters and subject of the play.
Rangnaad-1 was conducted by Deepak Kumar founder/Director  Rangyug who is well known across the country and abroad for  a genuine and committed theatre movement .The course was  supported by Rajkumar Behrupia and Soham Kashyap among  other senior theatre activists of Rangyug. Celebrating 30 years of its meaningful contribution in the  field of theatre dedicated for social change, Rangyug is  organizing various courses throughout this year wherein  especially the freshers shall be introduced to this genre  of performing arts keeping in view the needs of the aspiring people .A Weekend Theatre Course (60 hours) shall be available for those who are busy in their respective fields to eking out livelihood. Speaking on the occasion Juhie Mohan urged upon the audience and media to promote the endeavors by Rangyug.
