KATRA, Oct 6: Hindi Pakhwada and its prize distribution ceremony were organized by Hindi Cell (Hindi Prakoshth) of SMVDU here today.
On the occasion, various competitions were organized which were Summarization (Sankshepan), Essay Writing (Nibandh Lekhan), Memoir Writing (Smriti Lekhan), Poetry Writing (Kavita Lekhan) and Quiz (Prashnottari).
University students and children of SMVDU fraternity participated enthusiastically in the event.
The winners of Hindi Pakhwada were honored by Vice Chancellor & Patron, Hindi Cell Prof. (Dr.) Pragati Kumar.
In Junior Category; Chetna Wadhawan, Ipshita Verma, Aarohini Bhardwaj, Rudransh Wadhawan and Anshila Bhardwaj were awarded. In the Senior Category; Lavkush, Sonu Kumar, Divyanshi Singh, Madhukar Kumar, Abhimanyu Raj Jha, Subhash Chandra Chaurasiya, Bhumi Puri, Abhishek and Sakshi were awarded.
The Vice Chancellor inspired all the students and extended his best wishes.
Nodal Officer Hindi Cell, Dr. Amitabh Vikram Dwivedi presented the Self-Written Book “Chinar Ka Sukha Patta” as a memento to VC and expressed his gratitude for attending the program.
