Hindi literary & cultural festival concludes

JAMMU, Mar 24: A 2-day Hindi literary and cultural festival by Jammu Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) concluded today at K L Saigal Hall, Jammu.
The function was presided over by Dr Raj Kumar while Dr Baljit Singh Raina was the chief guest on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, chief guest Dr Baljit Singh Raina appreciated the efforts of JKAACL for the promotion of different languages of the J&K UT.
Dr Raj Kumar, in his presidential address, appreciated the poets and short story readers. He thanked to the academy for organizing such programs.
Poets and short story writers who participated in the event, included Heena Mahajan, Bhagwati Devi, Ashok Kalsi, Indu Bhushan Bali, Maharaj Krishan Santoshi, Iqbal Khullar, Rajinder Kumar Ranjha, Uttam Singh Uttam, Shyam Bihari, Sohan Bharti, Sumit Sudan, Sunil Sharma, Baljeet Raina, Randhir Singh Raipuria, Ram Krishan Dhar, Dimple Verma etc.
Program was followed by a musical and cultural program. Dr Rattan Basotra, Editor, conducted proceedings of the event while Yashpaul Nirmal, Assistant Editor JKAACL, presented the vote of thanks.
