SRINAGAR: Lauding former Army chief General Ved Prakash Malik for calling Kashmir highway ban as a ‘dumb idea’, National Conference (NC) Vice President Omar Abdullah on Wednesday alleged the decisions in Jammu and Kashmir are being driven more by ego than by logic.
“Kudos to Gen Malik Sahib for calling out the J&K highway closure order for what it is ‘a dumb idea’. Alas decisions in J&K today are being driven more by ego than by logic & it is vanity that is stopping this order from being withdrawn,” Mr Abdullah, who is the former chief minister of J&K, wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
