JAMMU, Aug 6: The helper of a tipper was killed when it overturned in Phlian Mandal area of city outskirts.
“The deceased was identified as Raj Kumar son of Rashpal, resident of Domana (Jammu),” a police official said, adding the tipper overturned near a crusher in Nandini area of Phlian Mandal, late last night.
He said while the driver of the tipper escaped unhurt in the mishap, the helper received serious injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 1 AM today.
“In this connection, a case has been registered at police station Domana and further investigation initiated,” the official added.
