Help stranded people: Shiv Sena to administration

JAMMU, Mar 28: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray J&K unit has appealed to the Lieutenant Governor to immediately take appropriate steps to help peoples stuck on their way to home.
In a handout Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni has said due to the 21 day nationwide lockdown all the means of transport are off on the roads and hundreds of stranded people are wandering at Jammu Bus Stand and DC office as part of their efforts to reach home.
He also said, not only this there are many people whose children or parents are stuck at Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal and Maharashtra due to education, jobs, medical treatment etc.
Sahni claimed that Shiv Sena workers today met such people in Jammu who were from Kashmir, Doda, Kishtwar etc and were facing a lot of problems like availability of food etc and were struggling to reach homes.
He said that such stranded people are spending nights on footpath or outside some religious place.
Sahni also said that he has also requested Maharashtra Government to help J&K people to return safely to their place.
