LONDON, May 7: “King’s Speech” star Helena Bonham Carter has fulfilled her New Year’s resolution after signing up for tap dance lessons.
The 45-year-old English actress vowed in the begining of 2012 to sign up for a class, and now she has successfully made her wish come true, reported Contactmusic.
“The great thing about our job is that it makes us do stuff we are naturally too lazy to do. I am proud of myself that I am finally doing tap lessons. That was a New Year’s resolution. I thought, ‘Just do it! When are you going to make the time?’,” Carter said.
The “Harry Potter” star also said that she likes to spend time with her two kids when she has a rare day off.
“I think if you have got a child, you have got to show them how to love life and what the good things to do are… I love that. And I love what I get back from them, which is imagination and play,” she said. (PTI)
