Healthcare suffers in absence of doctors, paramedics

SRINAGAR, Jan 29: Despite having all necessary equipments, the healthcare is suffering badly in the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Srigufwara Adlash village due to dearth of doctors and paramedical staff.
Officials said the PHC is working with only 25 percent of the sanctioned staff as at present. There is only one AYUSH doctor while all other MBBS medicos have been attached to Pahalgam. The PHC employees say that they were there to safeguard the equipment and bulding.
Chief Medical Officer Anantnag, Dr Fasil Ali admitted the dearth of staff at the said Centre. He added that within one month doctors and technicians would be provided to the said PHC.
