In case the Government succeeds in equipping every hospital with latest facilities, it will be a great service to this State. The health of our hospitals has not improved much, particularly, in rural areas where patients suffer even for common medicines and have to go other places for conducting tests. In towns as well, the condition is no better. The urban hospitals remain crowded, as people from villages also throng here. As a result, people have to visit private clinics where they are charged a hefty sum.
Therefore, the Government must ensure that all modern facilities are made available in all medical centres throughout the State.
