SRINAGAR, Sept 10: The DHSK today organized a pledge-taking ceremony across hospitals to fight against the drug menace in the Valley, under ‘Nasha Mukt Baharat Abhiyan’.
The major function took place at the Directorate office at Bemina, where the officials of the Health Department Directorate took the pledge in presence of Director, Dr. Rather Mushtaq. Simultaneously the pledge was taken in all health institutions across the Kashmir valley.
While speaking on the occasion Dr. Mushtaq said that drug abuse has become a very grave issue and that society as a whole needs to unite to fight against this social evil.
Nodal Officer Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan, DHSK, Dr. Majid Shafi informed that throughout the month awareness activities will continue in all health institutions across the valley to promote awareness about the drug menace prevalent in the society.
