RAJOURI, May 2 : People’s Democratic Party today termed the Health Department inquiry into the mysterious death of a teenager in Rajouri District Hospital mere an eyewash and has refused to accept any such inquiry.
In a press conference, PDP leaders Abdul Qayoom Dar, District President and Advocate Ch Qamar Hussain flayed the inquiry ordered by Health Department into the death of a teenager, close relative of MLA Darhal, on operation table of District Hospital on Wednesday.
“The inquiry ordered by Health Department is an attempt to hush up the matter and such an inquiry is not acceptable to us,” said PDP leaders. They also accused departmental officials as well as Health Minister of trying to sabotage the magisterial probe.
PDP leaders expressed faith over the Magistrate inquiry ordered by district administration headed by ACR Sachin Dev and said “we are hopeful that this inquiry will be conducted free and fair”.
Tazeem Dar, Haji Jamsheed, Tahir lone and others were present in the press conference.
