Health Centre opened at Shahdara Sharief

RAJOURI, June 4:  Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s announcement for the establishment of Health Centre at Shahdara Sharief  Ziarat, made during the inaugural function of  “Baitul Zaireen” at the shrine of revered Saint Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah  at Shahdara Sharief  on Friday was fulfilled with in hours.
During the inauguration of new building at the shrine for pilgrims, Mehbooba Mufti declared that a Health Centre should opened in the complex immediately and other additional facilities for the pilgrims should also be created. DyCM was also accompanying her.
Soon after the CM’s announcement, Health Minister and Director Health Services Jammu directed the  Chief Medical Officer Rajouri Dr Chaman Bhasin and BMO Darhal Dr Iqbal Malik to set up hospital there at the Shrine.
Dr Iqbal took the instant action and opened the same within the hours of the CM’s and Health Minister’s directions.  The BMO deputed six employees from PHC Shahdara Sharief, including one Medical Officer, one Supervisory Pharmacist, one Junior  Pharmacist, one Lab Technician, one FNO and one Safaiwala  to attend the duties at Health Centre Shahdara Sharief  from Friday (June 3).
Abdul Qayoom Dar, chairman/ administrator  Auqaf when contacted confirmed that the Health Centre has been opened on the directions of  Chief Minister, on internal arrangement basis and shall remain functional to provide best health care facilities to the public and pilgrims visiting shrine.
