JAMMU, May 11: Samvedna Society chairman, Keshav Chopra here today organised 83rd free eye screening/general body health check-up camp at General Bus Stand in collaboration with Police Station Bus Stand.
The camp saw the attendance of drivers, conductors, cops and others and a total of 92 patients were provided free of cost treatment including Refraction, NCT, AR check-up, vision check-up and general body examination by a team of experts from Dr. K.D Multispeciality Hospital Jammu and free medicines were also given to the patients.
The camp was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police, Jammu North, Shivam Siddharth; SDPO Jammu North, Devinder Singh Bandral and SHO Bus Stand, Inspector Vikas Dogra.
Speaking on the occasion, Shivam Siddharth lauded Samvedna Society for organizing the camp to provide voluntary services to the common public at their doorstep.
Keshav Chopra said that Samvedna Society is committed to work for all the sections of society by providing best healthcare facilities.
Transport Union leaders Suresh Gupta, Paramjeet Singh, Sanjay Gupta along with Dr. Bhawna, Ophthalmologist, Dr. Bhavuk, Neurosurgeon, Dr. Arica, General Physician, Harsh, Manager, Karamjeet Singh, Tanisha, Bharti, Kavita and others were also present in the camp.
