JAMMU, Dec 18: Kashyap Educational, Economical and Charitable Society and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangthan in collaboration with J&K AIDS Prevention and Control Society of Health and Medical Education Department organized a Health Awareness Camp at Muthi near here today.
The doctors and experts gave detailed lecturers during the camp and informed the people about various precautionary measures which they can take to keep the dreaded diseases at bay.
They said the AIDS and HIV are biggest challenges before mankind at present and it poses immense danger. The only way to prevent it is that people are educated about the diseases through awareness camps so that the preventive measures can be taken in this regard.
They said the youth, students and social activists should join hands in organizing such camps to educate people against the ill effects of this dreaded disease.
The experts included Dr Vinod Koul, Dr A K Kachroo, BJP Displaced District president, Chand Ji Bhat, social activist and senior BJP leader, Virender Kuchroo, Swami Kumar Ji, A K Raina ex director School Education, Vijay Kashkari vice president AIKS, Mohan Ji Sopori, social activists, A K Pandita, Ashok Bhat and Vijay Raina.
