KATRA, Dec 6: HDFC Bank today organized a Blood Donation Camp at Bank’s branch here near Hotel Asia Shripati Katra.
The camp was inaugurated by CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Dr MK Bhandari in the presence of CAO, SMVDSB, Neeraj Gupta and president, Hotel Association, Katra, Sham Lal Kesar.
A large number of people, including Bank executives and customers donated their blood. Branch Head of the Bank, Vickul Mahajan, was the first to donate blood to encourage youth to participate in this much needed initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, Unit Head, Operations and Cash Management, Satvinder Singhi, said, “ Blood is precious, more so in our country, which suffers from an acute demand-supply gap and therefore we have been expanding our blood donation drive with more people, both from the Bank and outside, lining up to donate blood”.
