HDFC Bank opens branch at Miran Sahib

JAMMU, June 7: HDFC Bank Ltd has opened its 80th branch at Miran Sahib near here.
The branch was inaugurated by Mahant Manjit Singh Ji along with Devraj Sharma, Sarpanch Miran Sahib and Sachin Mahajan, Circle Head HDFC Bank.
Cluster Heads of HDFC Bank, Parvinder Singh Sudan and Abhishek Khajuria were also present on the occasion.
A handout of the Bank stated that new branch will cater to the locals in and around Miran Sahib and rest of Jammu giving them access to full range of HDFC Bank’s products and services.
Speaking on the occasion, Sachin Mahajan, Circle Head HDFC Bank said: “Our activities have impacted more than 3 lakh people so far in J&K and we are humbled by the trust they repose in us. We remain committed to keep serving our customers with the best-in-the-class services and the latest technology in future.”
The handout also stated that at a national level, HDFC Bank has 52 per cent of its branches in semi-urban and rural areas and is continuously extending its reach in the hinterland in its endeavour to support inclusive growth. As of September 30, 2019, the Bank had a distribution network with 5,314 branches and 13,514 ATMs in 2,768 cities and towns.
