BHADERWAH, June 28: HDFC Bank has completed its 15 years of operation in Jammu and Kashmir by organizing a function here today.
In the function, the staff members of the bank and customers were present.
On the occasion, Cluster Head Showket Hussain was the chief guest, while BM Bhadarwah Rajesh Parihar presided over the function.
The chief guest along with other dignitaries cut the cake depicting completion of 15 years.
Starting it’s journey at Bahu Plaza branch of Jammu in 2003, HDFC Bank has opened its branches in every area and helped to provide banking services to more than three lakh customers in the State. In Bhadarwah, the branch was opened in 2012.
While speaking on the occasion, Cluster Head Showket Hussain said, “Since past 15 years, it is our endeavour to make a difference in the lives of our esteemed customers through our banking services as well as in society as a whole through our social initiatives. Our activities have impacted more than three lakh people in the State so far and we are humbled by the trust and support they repose in us”.
“We are committed to keep serving our customers with best-in-the-class services and the latest technology in the future”, he added.
To commemorate its journey in the State, the Bank launched special savings account for a limited period only. Known as 1,000 AMB Savings Account, it will allow customers to maintain a minimum balance ie the average monthly balance (AMB) of just Rs 1000. It also offers Personal Accidental Death Cover of Rs. 5 lakh on its Debit Card. Key benefits include 5 per cent savings at select merchants, a set number of free ATM transactions, and free InstaAlerts among others, the spokesman said.
BM Rajesh Parihar informed that HDFC Bank has focused on reaching out to the large unbanked segments and is helping to contribute towards economic development, poverty elevation and employment generation for the people.
Those who spoke on the occasion include Abdul Gafar Bagwan, Taraq Ahmed Butt, Arif Najar, Chaman Lal Gupta, Abdul Haq Zarger and Sunil Bhardwaj.
Staff members who were present during the celebrations include BBM Nisar Butt, PB Randeep Kotwal, Teller Rishi Goswami, DM WBO Musarrat Ali, Rohit Sharma (CAM), Aamir Ramzan, Ubaid Butt (PL) and Yasir Mir.
