JAMMU, Apr 11: In a petition filed by Mohd Iqbal Haji, presently working as Deputy Custodian Kathua challenging the promotion of Ajaz Ahmed Hajam as Custodian (EP) Kashmir, Justice Tashi Rabstan today issued notice to Revenue Secretary, Custodian General and Deputy Custodian Baramulla returnable within four weeks.
After hearing Advocate Irfan Khan for the petitioner, the High Court directed that subject to the objection from the respondents, order impugned No. CG (EP) 61/2014 dated April 4, 2014 to the extent it pertains to the recommendation of respondent Ajaz Ahmed Hajam for the promotion to the post of Custodian EP Kashmir shall not be acted upon.
