JAMMU, Mar 8: In a petition filed by registered migrants of Muthi Camp seeking direction to the respondents against removing them from present allotments at Muthi-Migrant Camp Phase-I, Justice Tashi Rabstan today issued notice to Commissioner/Secretary Revenue, VC JDA, Relief Commissioner (M) and Assistant Commissioner Relief Organization returnable within two weeks.
After hearing Advocate Rahul Raina for the petitioners, Justice Tashi Rabstan observed, “the petitioners were to be allotted two rooms tenements at Jagti Township Nagrota. In connection therewith, certain formalities are stated to have been completed but possession has not been given to them wherein the petitioners could reside along with their families”, adding “at Muthi demolition drive has been initiated by the JDA which might result in bringing the petitioners along with their families on the road side”.
Accordingly, Justice Rabstan directed respondents that the present position of the petitioners’ shall not be disturbed.
