JAMMU, Apr 29: Justice Tashi Rabstan today stayed the operation of order whereby Satish Khajuria, Chief Enforcement Officer Jammu Municipal Coportaion was attached with Housing and Urban Development Department.
After hearing Advocate Gagan Basotra appearing for the petitioner, Justice Rabstan issued notices to Commissioner Secretary Housing & Urban Development Department, Commissioner JMC and Kamini Kesar, Enforcement Officer JMC, which were accepted by Deputy AG BS Jamwal appearing for the State.
Justice Rabstan directed that the State to file response within one week and in the meanwhile subject to objections from other side and till next date before the Bench, operation of order impugned No 14/HUD/2015 dated April 24, 2015 (whereby CEO was attached) shall not be acted upon.
