LUCKNOW, Jan 3: The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court today termed the appointment of Uttar Pradesh Adovocate Vinay Chandra Mishra as justified on legal grounds.
The bench comprising Justices Dhananjay Yashwant and D K Arora passed this order on the petition filed by advocate Chandra Gupta.
The court rejected the petition, challenging the appointment of the state Advocate General Vinay Chandra Mishra, and termed it unmaintainable.
In the petition, it was alleged that the UP Advocate General is not fit for the post.(UNI)
