HC orders stay on SRO 123

JAMMU, June 11: Providing temporary relief to the Private schools, the High Court has directed the State Government not to insist the compliance of SRO 123 of 2010 dated 18.03.2010 for the current session 2014-2015.
After hearing arguments of Advocate Rohit Mattu, representing the petitioner Private Schools Association, who drew the attention of the court on the emergent nature of the matter, Justice B L Bhat disposed of the application and directed the respondent/State not to insist the compliance of impugned SRO 123 for the current session 2014-15.
Anil Sethi and Associates filled the memo of urgency though advocate Rohit Mattu for the CMA No.1020/2014 IN OWP 737/2012.  The Advocate for the applicant also drew a reference that how the fate of all private schools is getting affected due to this SRO 123 on infrastructure eligibilities for registration of  schools.
