JAMMU, May 3: Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Alok Aradhe and Justice Tashi Rabstan today granted three weeks time to the State for placing Water Policy in the court.
When the petition on the subject came up for hearing, Senior AAG HA Siddiqui submitted that Draft Water Policy has already been approved by the Law Department and the same was placed for approval before the Cabinet but could not be taken up for consideration. “As and when the Cabinet approves the Policy, the same shall be notified”, he added.
After hearing Advocates A K Sawhney and Assem Sawhney for the petitioner, the DB granted three weeks time for placing Water Policy in the court.
