JAMMU, Mar 24: President Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu Abhinav Sharma today appealed people to honour the “Lock Down” ordered by the Central Government and the Union Territory of J&K.
“Lock down” is a situation when all activities other than those connected with essential services are banned and people not connected with essential services are required to stay at home and not to venture out so that the deadly virus does not get a human medium to carry it forward”, Advocate Abhinav Sharma said.
Stating that whole of the world is passing through a very-very critical and unprecedented phase of its existence, he said, “India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the challenge in right earnest and is leading from the front to protect the people of the country”, adding “no doubt World Health Organization has acknowledged so far success story in India but there is nothing to be complacent about as much more danger from the deadly disease may be in store for us in India”.
He appealed all the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir to honour the “Lock Down” and stay at their homes in order to save their own lives, those of their family members and the people around.
