HBET conducts scholarship test for over 300 students

JAMMU, Feb 7: Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust (HBET) conducted selection test for over 300 students for granting scholarships for next academic year.
HBET is supporting the education of over 550 children, particularly girls in rural areas of Government schools. Besides, providing scholarships to these students, they are also offered medical assistance on need basis.
Mentorship and counseling is a regular feature throughout the year to educate and enhance the understanding of life and academics of these students.
Every year 50 to 80 new student beneficiaries of class 1st to 3rd from Government schools are added to the existing list. The selection depends on merit and financial conditions of the child.
Speaking on the occasion, Renu Kapahi, Evaluation Test Coordinator, said that parents desiring to avail this scholarship and associating with this programme, can approach the Trust located at BEE ENN Hospital, Talab Tillo, Jammu.
