POONCH, June 20: The residents of Hari Marhote Niabat staged protest today and alleged that Naib Tehsildar is not sitting in his office due to which people are suffering badly.
The protest was held outside Naib Tehsildar office at Marhote under the leadership of former Sarpanch of the Panchayat Hari Marhote,
Sikander Noorani said scores of people from different areas of this Niabat participated in the protest and urged the Deputy Commissioner Poonch Yasin Mohd Choudhary to direct Naib Tehsildar for regular presence in his office.
They said that 14 Panchayats with more than 25000 population comes under this Niabat and people with many issues are visiting to Naib Tehsildar office who was appointed more than two months ago here but he hardly vists office due to which people are suffering. They sought the intervention of DC Poonch into the matter.
