JAMMU, Sept 20: One hardcore criminal, who was evading his arrest for last one year in Arms Act was arrested today arrested by Police Station Miran Sahib.
“The arrest was made by a special police team led by SHO Police Station Miran Sahib Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq and constituted by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh after raids were done at suspected locations,” a police spokesperson said.
He said the absconder namely Bagh Ali alias Baggu and Sunny son of Mangat Ali, resident of Bari Brahmana (Samba) was evading his arrest in a case FIR Number 102/2022 U/S 307/353/332/147/148/IPC, 4/25 Arms Act of Police Station Miran Sahib.
The spokesperson said the accused is a history sheeter and was wanted in more than 10 cases registered against him within and outside UT of J&K. Moreover, the accused was also involved in more than 15 criminal cases which include an attack on the DDC member in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bishnah. He was involved in various cases such as murder, attempt to murder, theft, robbery, illegal possession of Arms and one ATM Robbery case.
The accused shall be produced before the Court, he added.
