JAMMU, July 17: A man, listed as an accused in several cases, was arrested and booked under Public Safety Act (PSA).
The arrested man identified as Jaan Mohammad alias Janna, son of Shah Mohammad of RS Pura was lodged at the Central Jail Kot Bhalwal on a warrant issued by the District Magistrate Jammu.
A dossier was prepared against the history-sheeter and submitted to the District Magistrate Jammu who granted the order to detain Jann Mohammad under the PSA.
The warrant was executed by Incharge Police Post Sidhra SI Ayub Khan under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma.
Jaan Mohammad alias Janna, a hardcore criminal, was involved in several bovine smuggling cases registered at various police stations of Jammu Division.
