JAMMU, Jan 19: Haq Insaaf Council (HIC) here today celebrated its 10th foundation day with commitment to proceed with the cause of right and justice to all in J&K.
The chief guest on this occasion was Mohd Aijaz Asad, Administrative Secretary and the distinguished speakers were senior Journalist Pardeep Dutta, Advocate Parvez Nazir, Prof. Shujaat Khan, Tahir Mustafa Malik, Advocate Dinesh Sharma, Advocate Adil Bhat and others.
The programme commenced with a two-minute silence to remember the victims of violence, including security forces personnel in J&K after which National Anthem was also recited.
The chief guest emphasized on the importance of national integration, communal harmony and coexistence in J&K.
Advocate Syed Zeshan, chairman of HIC pledged to channelize the energy of the youth, urging them to join the movement for right and justice.
Choudhary Owais managed the proceedings of the event.
The programme concluded with Mohd Mashooq and Tahir Mustafa Malik delivering vote of thanks.
