H N Tickoo passes away

JAMMU, Feb 15: H N Tickoo senior vice president Kashmiri Pandit Sabha (KPS) and a veteran social activist who was associated with various philanthropist organizations breathed his last today after a brief illness at his Mohinder Nagar residence. He was 88.
He is survived by his wife, son and daughter. He served as general secretary and then senior vice president of KPS and was associated with this organization till his last breath. He had also served as vice president, Samaj Kalyan Kendra, Kusht Nirvan Society, served as president and general secretary of J&K Confederation of Voluntary Social Charitable Organization, Executive Member of Regional Red Cross Society and member of Voluntary Action Network, New Delhi.
He was also founder president of Sanskar an organization founded by him to imbibe moral values among the younger generations in the society. He had conducted varied of workshops and seminars both in rural as well as urban areas for revival of moral values to help the needy, poor and destitute.
