RAMNAGAR, May 22: BJP J&K Spokesperson, Ranbir Singh Pathania has exhorted that every citizen of the country should work for the welfare of society and serve the humanity selflessly as preached by Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj.
Pathania was interacting with devotees at Guru Ravi Dass Mandir, Keya here today on the occasion of Manav Kalyan Sant Sammellan wherein Shri Shri 108 Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj delivered sermons.
Pathania paid rich tributes to the Saint and stressed upon inculcating the thoughts and gospels propounded by him.
He said the revolutionary saint, poet and social reformer Guru Ravi Dass propagated oneness of the ‘supreme being’ across all religions.
“Teachings of great spiritual saint inspire us to lead a righteous life. There were five human values of Sathya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema and Ahimsa. These human values were taught by saints of all religions, which confer inner bliss,” he maintained.
Pathania called upon everyone to propagate the message of Guru Ravi Dass Ji to every nook and corner of the country to fight the evils of casteism, communalism, corruption which have engulfed the society today.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Badri Nath, President Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Ramnagar; Ved Parkash, President Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Basantgarh; Charan Dass, President Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Tagan and others.
