Guru Ravi Dass Sabha condemns torching of Constitution copies

JAMMU, Aug  14: All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha has strongly condemned the purported torching of copies of Indian Constitution at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi by some miscreants allegedly backed  by BJP and RSS.
In this connection, an emergency meeting of the Sabha was held under the leadership of  its president Piran Ditta,  who warned that if no action is taken against the culprits responsible  for this  ‘blasphemous’ act, Dalit  would be compelled to take to streets calling for a massive agitation.

“The culprits responsible  for torching Constitution of India must be arrested and booked under the law against anti-national activities otherwise we will once again call for Bharat Bandh,” he said while talking to media persons on the occasion.
Piran Ditta lamented that despite the complaint lodged in Police Station by the Bahujan Samaj activists, no action was taken so far against the culprits. This has made people of Dalit Samaj agitated all over the country, who are being harassed and put behind the bars without any fault,” he said and further alleged that Dalits were being meted out with injustice in every field of life.
Others, who spoke on the occasion, included, Dr Raj Paul Hans, Raj Kumar Raja, Darshan Rana, Romesh Hans, Mulakh Raj, S S Basson, Banarsi Digra, Manoj Kumar, Om Parkash, Deepak Bangotra and  Joginger Digra.
