RAMBAN, Aug 20: The 64th annual Gurmat Samagam was organized on Sunday under the aegis of Mahant Manjit Singh, Head Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch at Yadgar Gurdwara Sant Bhai Mela Singh in Batote.
On this occasion, Bhajan Kirtan was recited by Raagi Jathaas from Jammu and Amritsar.
Several prominent Sikh preachers also delivered sermons.
After Guru Granth Sahib Paath and Ardaas, Langar was served to the devotees.
Started from July 7, series of 150 Akhand Paaths also concluded today.
On this occasion, a medical camp under Ayushman Bharat was also organized at the Gurdwara under the supervision of BMO, Batote, Dy.CMO, Ramban, Dr. Gurmit Kour wherein free screening for Communicable Diseases was done and free medicines besides free spectacles were also given to the needy patients under National Programme for Blindness and Visual Impaired.
According to Dr. Kour a total 150 persons were screened in the camp.
