NEW DELHI, Oct 12: There was not much activity at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today with prices moving in a narow range in scattered deals and pegging around previous levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also depicted a similar trend.
Marketmen sufficient stocks position against restricted buying activity kept gur prices at previous levels.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,700-3,800, pedi Rs 3,600-3,700, dhayya Rs 3,700-3,800 and shakkar Rs 3,900-4,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 3,000-3,050, chakku Rs 3,250-3,550, khurpa Rs 3,050-3,100 and Ladoo Rs 3,500-3,550.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,100-3,150 and dhayya Rs 3,250-3,300. (PTI)
