NEW DELHI, Apr 24: The wholesale gur (jaggery) market ended flat in the national capital today after moving in a tight range on scattered deals.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also depicted a flat trend on some deals.
Marketmen said absence of buying activity due to off- season, mainly kept gur prices at last levels.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,100-3,200, pedi Rs 3,200-3,300, dhayya Rs 3,400-3,500 and shakkar Rs 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,550-2,600, chakku Rs 2,650-2,875, khurpa Rs 2,600-2,650 and Ladoo Rs 2,850-2,950.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,900-3,050 and dhayya Rs 3,000-3,050. (PTI)
