Gur prices remain flat in thin trade

NEW DELHI, June 10: The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market settled on a steady note in the national capital today following comfortable stocks against current demand.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a steady trend on small buying support.
Marketmen said scattered buying amid ample stocks in the market mainly kept gur prices unchanged.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,600-3,700, pedi Rs 3,700-3,800, dhayya Rs 4,000-4,100 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs N.Q., chakku Rs 3,125-3,350, khurpa Rs N.Q. And Ladoo Rs 3,250-3,300.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,250-3,350 and dhayya Rs 3,400- 3,450. (PTI)
