NEW DELHI, Feb 23: The wholesale Jaggery Market showed a steady trend today as gur prices moved in a tight range on lack of worthwhile buying activity, settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks position against lack of worthwhile buying activity from stockists and retailers and pegged around previous levels.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,900-3,000, pedi 2,950-3,050, dhayya 3,000-3,100 and shakkar 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,400-2,450, chakku 2,700-2,850 and khurpa 2,600-2650.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2650-2,700 and dhayya 2,650-2700. (PTI)
