Gur ends steady in thin trading

NEW DELHI, Feb 18:  There was not much activity at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital as prices after moving in a tight range, closed at the previous levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also closed on a flat note in restricted activity.
Marketmen said sufficient stocks position against scattered demand, mainly kept prices at previous levels.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,200-3,300, pedi Rs 3,200-3,300, dhayya Rs 3,400-3,500 and shakkar Rs 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,650, chakku Rs 2,950-3,050, khurpa Rs 2,825-2,850 and Ladoo Rs 2,900-2,950.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,825-2,900 and dhayya Rs 2,900-2,950. (PTI)
