NEW DELHI, Mar 16: The wholesale Jaggery market remained steady in the national capital today as prices generally moved in a tight range in the absence of any market moving factor and settled at last levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also finished without any changes in thin trade.
Marketmen said little buying support mainly kept prices around last closing levels.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,950-3,000, pedi 2,900-3,050, dhayya 3,000-3,100 and shakkar 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,500-2,550, chakku 2,775-2,850 and khurpa 2,500-2550.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2650-2,670 and dhayya 2,650-2670. (PTI)
