UDHAMPUR, Sept 17: Senior BJP leader and member, State BJP Election Committee, Pawan Gupta today conducted an extensive tour of flood and landslide hit Mand Panchayat and took stock of the damages caused to residential houses, infrastructure and standing crops.
Gupta along with State Coordinator, BJP Public Sector Cell, Subhash Sharma and Udhampur BJP Mandal president, Raj Kumar Bucha, visited various localities of Mand Panchayat, interacted with the people and expressed solidarity with the flood and landslide victims.
The BJP leader expressed sympathies with the affected people and assured them that district administration with the help of Government of India and social organizations is distributing relief to the people.
He also inspected the damaged houses and distributed blankets, tarpaulins as well as financial help among the affected families from his own sources.
