Gupta SSP candidate for Jammu-Poonch LS seat

JAMMU, Mar 20: Newly floated Sainik Samaj Party (SSP) has announced Dr Karan Gupta, a retired government employee presently a social activist, as its candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha (LS) seat.
In a press conference here today Colonel S.S Pathania, (retired), Chief Convener and President of SSP said his Party was launched last year and it had already participated in local bodies elections in Jammu and Ladakh divisions.
He further said that his Party will address the issue of regional discrimination with Jammu and Ladakh regions apart from working for PoK displaced families.
He also said that they will also fight for reservations in Government jobs for ex-servicemen on lines of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
Talking to reporters Col Pathania said that his Party will also fight against the menace of drug addiction, return of Rohingyas etc.
He appealed the public to vote for Sainik Samaj Party candidate.
