Gupta inaugurates community hall in Bhagwati Nagar

JAMMU, Nov 12:  Former Union Minister and MLA, Jammu West Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta today inaugurated the newly constructed community hall in Bhagwati Nagar, Ward No. 14 of Jammu West Constituency.  The hall has been constructed at the cost of Rs. 28.00 lakh by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) on recommendations of Prof. Gupta.
JKDF State president Anil Gupta was among the prominent persons present during the inauguration of the community hall.
The hall has been inaugurated in presence of Management Committee of hall, local residents, senior citizens and officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
Speaking on the occasion Prof. Gupta said, one of the long pending demand of people has been fulfilled. This community hall will cater the needs of people particularly poor ones who could not afford costly accommodation for performing their social and religious rituals. It will be our endeavor to provide such facilities in other wards of Jammu West where it is required, he added.
While addressing the gathering Anil Gupta said various developmental activities on public demand are being carried out in different wards of Jammu West Constituency by Prof. Gupta on request of JKDF. Hopefully all the pending works will be completed in a few months time, he added.
He said works like black topping of roads, construction of lanes , drains and electrical maintenance has been carried out in various wards on initiative of JKDF.
Anil Gupta said JKDF has become the voice and popular platform of people where the genuine demands of people are projected and highlighted.
Senior citizens and management committee of community hall and local residents expressed their gratitude to   Anil Gupta and Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta for their initiatives of carrying out developmental activities in Ward No. 14.
