JAMMU, June 4: Former MLA from Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta along with the Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma and Chairman JDA, Vikas Sharma toured the parking project that is under construction at the erstwhile Bus Stand area.
During the inspection they took stock of the ongoing work of the multi tier parking project. Once completed the ultra modern car parking is going to ease the congestion from a large part of the area of Jammu city.
The officials directed the concerned engineers on the site to expedite the final stages of the work so as to give Jammuites a big gift of ease and comfort.
Rajesh Gupta, while said that the landmark project would bring Jammu firmly on the map of fast developing cities in the country. He said that in order to become a Smart City one of the parameters is the availability of adequate parking space and this project is going to fulfill that.
Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Sanjeev Varma instructed the officials to create a world class structure of the highest quality and standards of which Jammu would be proud of. He instructed the officials of the project to expedite the construction work. VC JDA, Vikas Sharma assured that the project would be completed well in time and it will be of the highest quality.
