UDHAMPUR, Oct 18: J&K BJP spokesperson Ranbir Singh Pathania today said that Gupkar agenda is another pipe dream.
While taking potshots at ‘Gupkar Alliance’, Pathania said it is surprising that parties with different ideologies, a track history of cock-spurring and nasty, inter-se power skirmishes have come on one platform in the name and style of ‘Gupkar Gang’. The BJP leader was addressing a series of public cum workers meetings at village Surni of Ramnagar Tehsil and village Dhema of Tehsil Majalta.
He said that people of J&K are well aware that supreme law making body, Indian Parliament has enacted a law thereby amending the Article-370 of Indian Constitution. “As a result thereof justice has been done to the women, refugees, valmikis. It was a travesty of justice that a J&K man could settle anywhere in India but J&K which has repeatedly been upheld as ‘Atoot Ang’ of India was inaccessible to the rest of the India,” he added.
Pathania said these parties have misled the youth and bred seeds of secessionism with their parochial agenda and party politics. He said whatsoever suited them there was no special status or Article-370 for it and whatsoever suited the people of J&K, Article-370 was a stumbling block. “A host of public welfare laws and legislations have crept in their way to J&K post August 5, 2019,” he added.
During the meetings, Pathania formally inducted many prominent JKNPP activists into the party fold. All of the newly joined members were all-praise for secular, down to earth approach and sterling performance of R S Pathania in the area of Ramnagar.
