Gulab – a spectacular Night Soiree held at Hari Niwas Palace

JAMMU, May 5: In a dazzling display of creativity and community spirit, Ritu Singh, unveiled the first-ever Gulab – a spectacular Night Soiree at the iconic Hari Niwas Palace. This transformative event immersed guests in a celebration of Jammu’s art, culture and entrepreneurial prowess.
The ambiance of Hari Niwas Palace provided the perfect backdrop for Gulab, which unfolded into a captivating marketplace featuring 68 stalls showcasing the vibrant tapestry of Jammu’s cultural heritage. Among these, 16 stalls were put up by AWWA (Army Wives Welfare Association), offering a glimpse into the talents and endeavours of military families.
Gulab showcased an array of diverse brands that illuminated the cultural and entrepreneurial landscape of Jammu. From the intricately crafted designs of Chitran to the delectable flavours of Vanilla Beans, each brand offered a unique glimpse into the region’s rich heritage and innovative spirit.
The participating brands included Poshak Bridal Emporio by Monika Bhatia, The Kansvin Nazrana by Ridhima & Parakh, Label Nidhi Aggarwal Jewels by Pooja Khurana, Label Lehnaaz from Amritsar and many others.
The event not only showcased the artistic and culinary talents of the region but also provided a platform for budding entrepreneurs to shine. Young innovators seized the spotlight, connecting with a diverse audience and showcasing their ventures, echoing Ritu Singh’s vision of bringing J&K on the world map
Culinary delights took centre stage at Gulab, with stalls offering a delectable array of dishes representing the finest cuisines of J&K. The evening was enlivened by the melodies of the renowned singers Sonali Dogra and Rikki .The local musicians, artisans and dancers from Ramnagar, Kud and Bhaderwah in collaboration with cultural academy captivated attendees with their performances.
Over 4000 guests including RR Bhatnagar (Advisor to Governor) and his wife, Major General Gaurav Gautam (GOC), Dr Shakti (Director AIIMS), Anu Malhotra (Director General, Rural Sanitization J&K), Indu Chib and Anisa Nabi graced Gulab with their presence.
