GST criticism

Sir,
There may be opposition to issues on their technical and legal aspects but it is strange that comparisons of childish nature are made with issues of  serious national importance .
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is introducing the much needed GST to the people  after the name of a well known character of a movie doing the part of a dacoit. While former Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh has been terming the revolutionary economic reform in the shape of demonetization as ” loot and plunder “.I fail to understand as to why Congress leaders are so much frugal in satire and literary criticism that either dacoits or their avocation ” loot and plunder ” only come to their mind when they intend to criticise policies and planning of the present dispensation ?
There could be analogies in abundance and perhaps suitable ones  with intent  to fire salvos which they either deliberately do not want to use or are knowingly indulging in a sort of providing some quantum of amusement or ” Halqa  Fulqa Manoranjan”to the audience.  It could also be that proper knowledge about the subject is in utter deficit and no proper home work is done. Of course,  something worth learning was expected from a scholar like Dr. Manmohan Singh while criticising  various policies but not.
Taking the wind off the sails  of the criticism for the sake of criticism indulged in by the Congress Party, the government has cut down tax rates on as many as 178 items from 28% to just 18%  GST which has potential to provide a great deal of relief to general public as well as the business community. A uniform tax regime to do away with multiplicity of different taxes and confusions in the shape of the GST was mooted out by the UPA regime and if after proper consultations and seeking of opinions from various states including the few ones with Congress governments , this innovative tax reform was introduced , why such a below the average standard type criticism and misleading and scaring the public is resorted to?
Yours etc….
