GRP reunites missing girl with parents

KATRA, May 15: A teenaged girl from Uttar Pradesh, who had mistakenly reached here, was restored to her parents by the General Railway Police Katra.
On observing the girl wandering under mysterious circumstances at Railway platform of Railway Station Ramnagar, GRP personnel, including a lady cop, took her to Police Post GRP Ramnagar.   While enquiry she revealed her name as Savita Devi (16), daughter of Devi Ram of Aadarsh Colony Biharinagar, district Ghaziabad (UP) and informed that she had mistakenly come here.
GRP contacted her parents who admitted that their daughter had gone missing since May 11, 2018.   GRP shifted the girl to Child Care Line Udhampur and called her parent to Udhampur.  After completing all the legal formalities, she was handed over to her legal heirs with the help of Child Care Line Udhampur.
This is the fourth such instance when GRP Katra has reunited missing girls with their parents.
