Groundnut oil eases in thin trade

NEW DELHI, Sept 6:  Barring a fall in groundnut oil on subdued demand, rest other edible and non-edible oils held steady at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today in limited deals.
Traders said besides subdued demand, adequate stocks position led to the decline in groundnut oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil eased by Rs 50 to Rs 7,200 per quintal.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustard seed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,140-1,250.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,200, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,300-1,375, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,100, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,225- 1,275, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,275-1,375, sesame mill delivery 8,000, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 6,400, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 6,100, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 4,900, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,050, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 5,800, Palmolein (Kandla) 5,600 and Coconut (per tin) 2,700-2,775.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,800, Castor 9,600-9,700, Neem 5,350-5,450. (PTI)
