NEW DELHI : His previous films ‘Hate Story 2’ and ‘Hate Story 3’ provided a thrilling experience to the cine going audience with raunchy scenes and an engaging storyline. With his latest flick ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ being touted as a murder mystery, Director Vishal Pandya again manages to grip the attention of viewers with its mix of ‘oomph’ and unpredictable twists and turns. ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ revolves around four characters Siya (Sana Khan), Ranvir (Gurmeet Chaudhry), Rahul (Rajnish Duggal) and Kabir (Sharman Joshi). Though in love with each other, Siya and Ranvir, both lawyers, have different ideologies. Their world gets changed completely when the city witnesses a live murder on a TV channel. Someone hacks into a TV channel and airs a murder live on it that shocks everyone. ACP Sarnaik is murdered and his death is telecast on Global Time Channel, owned by Rahul Oberoi (Rajniesh Duggal).
Naturally, the channel owner is the prime suspect in the case. This is followed by two more murders. Inspector Kabir deshmukh is asked to investigate the matter To Rahul’s rescue comes Siya (Sana Khan), who works as his legal head. Fighting this case against Siya on behalf of the state is Ranveer (Gurmeet). The case, which starts with an ACP’s murder, soon has another victim, Karan who is a real estate magnet and the killer’s next target is Rahul. The rest of the film deals with whether Kabir is able to solve this case successfully? Touted as a murder mystery, Wajah Tum Ho is filled with unpredictable twists and turns at every juncture as the cops and the lawyers try to find out the real culprit. The slick plot, the surprising twists and turns, coupled with several steamy scenes between Sana and Gurmeet grip the attention of the viewer throughout the film. The first half is specially gripping and though the film slows down somewhat in the second half, the climax comes as a surprise to the audience, thus enhancing the mystery . Director Vishal Pandya has given a slick feel to the film and manages to build up the mystery towards the ‘unpredictable ‘ climax where the identity of the killer is revealed. Gurmeet, working in his second film after ‘Khamoshiyan’ , leaves audiences drooling over his well sculpted body and his brilliant dance moves. Sana khan adds the required level of oomph to the film. She looks sizzling in her romantic scenes with Gurmeet. There is excellent chemistry between the two. (AGENCIES)
